This book follows the journey of a young boy who falls asleep under a tree and awakens in the dark of night to discover that his family has left him behind. As the boy finds himself alone and helpless, he encounters a lion who, despite initially intending to eat him, feels compassion for the boy's plight. The lion decides to assist the boy by providing him with hunted meat. With the boy's fire-making skills, they collaborate to cook the meat. The lion becomes the boy's protector until his parents eventually locate and rescue him. In a gesture of gratitude, the boy gifts a camel to the lion. Written by Mr. Mohamed Sh. Hassan and illustrated by Mr. Mukhtar Mudeey, this book was published by ScanSom Publishing Company in 2014.
