USING LACE AS A TEMPLATE FOR EMBROIDERY • Embroidering on crocheted fabric can be challenging. Sure, making a few lazy-daisy flowers or a bit of a blanket-stitch edging is doable, but covering a large area with satin stitches is difficult. Start adding more details and working on symmetry, and you are looking at something that can be quite hard indeed.

Crochet for Good: Handmade HUGS • Some heroes wear uniforms, some heroes wear masks, and some heroes wear handmade scarves. The unsung scarf-wearing heroes to whom we’re referring include the thousands upon thousands of brave survivors who have fled domestic-abuse situations.
