Then two people connected to the school are murdered. The faces of their dead bodies are frozen in horror. Forbes ratchets up the intensity of the audiobook and the creepiness of the story, while also building the heat between Sarah and Sheriff Coleman, who are continually thwarted in their attempts to make love.
