      Gr 7 Up-In this sequel to Changeling (2012), the year is 1453 and Luca is still traveling through Italy accompanied by Isolde and others. They are becoming more and more attracted to each other as they investigate the mysteries around them. Arriving in a small village, they discover a religious crusade of children that threatens the entire world. War rages on, and then a deadly storm hits. The second title (2013, both Simon Pulse) in Gregory's epic quartet will delight listeners as these unlikely companions explore this dark time in history. Nicola Barber's narration is smooth and elegant. Her variations of the voices and mood interpretation of the text bring depth and anticipation to the tale.
