Her image-obsessed mother-in-law (whose over the top snobbery makes her nearly indistinguishable from Miranda) thinks Andy isn't good enough for Max, and her business partner Emily wants to sell their magazine to Elias-Clark, the publisher of Runway, which would make Andy once again a servant to Miranda. Weisberger adds many plot elements that put Andy and her lifetyle in jeopardyâand while the resolutions won't shockâAndy's character is what drives the book, after all- this sequel is a fun summer read.
